Learn French in Brussels
Private online French lessons that fit the rhythm of expat life.
Because I don’t want your busy schedule to stop you from reaching your goals.
You know that regularity is the key to learning French and enjoying life in Brussels.
But how are you supposed to take regular lessons when your job is demanding, you often need to travel, or your calendar looks different every week!?
That’s not a problem anymore!
Forget adapting yourself to someone else’s strict schedule or feigning interest in topics that don’t match your life. It’s finally time to take French lessons that are made specially for expats like you.
Here, there’s only one way to learn French: on your terms.
I’ll start by getting to know who you are and how you want to learn, then I’ll build a plan that respects that. No rigid schedules, no ready-made content, no set topics.
Whether you’re moving to Brussels or pursuing a new passion, we’ll follow your goals, your interests and your timeline — so you can see real life progress, at a pace that feels right for you.
Salut!
Moi, c’est Marie-Ange.
And I’m a Belgian French teacher for expats in Belgium whose lives move in squiggles, not straight lines.
I’m here to help you gain confidence in French without losing your evenings (or your mind) following lessons made for somebody else.
I believe language should enrich your life, not add pressure to your already-busy week.
That’s why I don’t do big group lessons, fixed locations or ready-made content. Instead, we’ll meet online at times when you have the capacity to learn, adjust the pace based on your energy and go deep into topics you can’t stop talking about.
That way you can log on knowing that every lesson will match your mood, bring you joy and give you meaningful results.
I’m the teacher you choose when you want to learn French in Brussels, but…
You don’t like to join group classes.
(Because of the pace, the pressure or the awkward conversation.)You have super specific interests or goals.
(And you want to go deep into topics you love talking about.)You want lots of real conversation practice.
(In a calm and comfortable setting where you can be yourself.)You learn faster (or slower) than most people.
(I’ll adjust the pace to match whatever you’re comfortable with.)You are interested in Belgian culture, even if you’re not in Belgium.
(Say no more — that’s sort of my thing!)You want control over your schedule.
(I won’t force you to stick to a single schedule. Learn at your best convenience.)

“Marie-Ange is an excellent teacher, she easily identified my weak areas and helped me work on those. The classes are always fun, she finds interesting topics for discussion and building vocabulary. The classes helped me a lot to gain confidence with language. Highly recommended.” - Lana
